First look on craigslist under computer and/or free section for a PC/parts that are cheap/free You can scavenge stuff like that. Hard drives, DVD writers, power supplies, RAM ect. Your main cost is the processor and MoBo. Motherboardpro.com has the cheapest boards around that I found when I built mine. Also don’t forget Ebay. thats the cheapest and sometimes best way to go. I have a bad *** gaming rig I built for about that much beacause I was diligent in searching and wasn’t impatient plus using parts from friends/families old PC’s. It takes works to find the stuff but makes t nice on the wallet.

With $600 you can easily get a very decent gaming pc. I don’t know how hardcore you are when it comes to gaming but for Graphics card you can get Nvidia 8800 GT for very cheap. You can get 4GBs of ram under $70 these days. For CPU u can get the Intel Q6600. If i were u, I would spend less on casing and the outlook and invest more on RAMS, cpu and graphics card. You can get most of the parts from Newegg or other internet stores or may be even Ebay. I am selling my pc with similar config as mentioned above. if you are interested let me know, my email: pooranimator@yahoo.com.
