If T-mobile Changed A Policy Can I Opt Out Of My Contract Early Without A Fee?
T-Mobile recently started making you renew your contract for 2 years if you change plans. They let you change whenever you wanted with no extension when I signed up. I know some changes in policy allow you to opt out of the contract with no fee for 90 days, is this one of them?

I’m not sure, but you can opt out of the contract because on June 28, 2008 T-Mobile raised the price of text from $.15 to $.20 per text. Just refer to the materially adverse clause and you should be able to get away without paying the early termination fee. You have 10 days from June 28th.

If it was an additional fee they were making you pay then yes, you could opt out. But a change in policy that doesn’t affect the price you are paying, then probably not. I actually work for t-mobile but I don’t deal with billing, activations, cancellations etc just tech stuff.
You should call and ask customer care. The senior reps there will be able to give you a more definite answer
