Should A Man Be Able To Opt Out Of Parenthood?
Like a woman can have an abortion? I mean, giving money for child support for a child you neither love nor care about for 18+ years, to me sounds like forcing a woman to have a child she doesn’t want. Sure she goes through pregnancy, but she can get help with the financial part.
What about this, if the father doesn’t want the child to be born, should he be able to opt out of parenthood, other than if he wants the child to be born but also want to opt out of parenthood?
What are your opinions on this?

A man and woman both could opt out of parenthood … condoms, birth control, abstinence …

YES if he isn’t married to the woman he had sex with and he used a condom during the act.

I honestly do think it’s unfair to have a man take care of a child he doesn’t want.
But in the other perspective once the child is born it’s born whether he wanted it or not. Accidents happen, so even if he was using protection she still can get pregnant.
I don’t like to consider children disposable. “So if you don’t want a child then get an abortion.” I do not like the sound of that. If I got pregnant I would never in my life get an abortion but I would let the man I’m with know that, I would be VERY clear. I would worn him. And if he says “Oh I don’t want a kid or anything so if you get pregnant I won’t want it” Hun don’t sleep with me.
I think more women need to make themselves clear on their stances before sleeping with a guy. So that they won’t trap him.
Also I also though for a women that if she doesn’t want children she can sell her eggs and get her tubes tied. I’ve considered that.

I think opting out of parenthood is fair for the men that didn’t want kids but it’s not fair for the child. If they don’t take care of his kid then who else would. Just the mom it’s super expensive just for one kid. And I don’t want my taxes being used on a kid whos father doesn’t give a crap and doesn’t want to help pay for the child or anything. There is a lot of single mothers (and fathers)! Taxes kill people already.
I’m pro- choice but I’m not pro- stupidity. Just because you don’t want to have a child and want to still have sex and have fun doesn’t mean I’m going to support your selfish ways with my taxes. That’s how I look at it.
