I am thinking of building a computer but i need to know what to get!
This computer is going to be for gaming and basic needs like research and school!
I want it to be a desktop!
Can some one name a list everything that would be good to get that is under 1000 dollars and will give me good performance!

The case I’m considering doesn’t come w/a power supply so I need to determine what I really need. Is there a guideline somewhere for this? I’ve found a list that breaks down watts per component but its on the vague side. I’d read that there should be a label stating actual usage on each part but either I don’t see the info or I have no idea what it means.
I’m sure its better to have more power than not enough, but can you have too much?
