What Are The Limitations When Setting Up A Network In A Listed Building?

When setting up a network in a listed house, will the listing affect such issues such as drilling through walls or setting up wireless networks. Are there any alternatives.

      See local restrictions.

Some restrictions (historic) only affect external structure.
      – - As long as the changes do not show from the street, anything goes.

I am presuming UK? To a degree it will dpend upon the nature of the listing, but wireless should ne be a problem legally. Depending upon the structure it might be a problem practically – great thick stone walls are not the best for wireless!
Your best bet might well be to contact English Heritage for advice.
